


America's Brewpub is the restaurant located inside the First Railroad Roundhouse built in America, 1856. Purchased for $10, in 1995, Walter Payton and his partners took the architectural rubble and transformed it into an architectural jewel in 370 days. Scott and Pam Ascher, Walter's partners still own (along with Walter's Estate) and operate the facility which includes the Brewpub, the brewery America's Brewing Company, Banquet Facilities, the gRoundhouse Coffee Company, Bar Absinthe, an Open-Air Courtyard for Dining and Entertainment, a Comedy Club, America's Club for Live Bands and DJ's and the America's Legends Museum.
International Award Winning Beer, along with American Regional Cuisine, a cuisine that has been featured in top food magazines and culinary books are located next door to the Award Winning Comfort Suites Inn. America's Historic Roundhouse is an excellent stop on any self-sponsored pub crawl or bike trail excursion. The Aurora Transportation Center is the very last stop on Metra's Burlington North Santa Fe commuter line out of Chicago's Union Station.
